Bartholomew (Bart) Butler is a serial entrepreneur who has really overcome — a rough childhood where drugs, crime and death were the norm, even his own incarceration. He has put it all in an inspiring book entitled “Redemption.” Bart is a philanthropist with over 30 years of experience in commercial and residential real estate and construction management. He is passionate about rebuilding under-served, distressed, areas nationwide and giving back to his community through his scholarship at his alma mater Virginia Tech. He founded numerous firms including a Top selling Real Estate sales firm, a Real Estate Hedge Fund and a successful REO business as well as several mortgage and title businesses just to name a few. Mr. Butler has spent over 20 years in residential and commercial real estate and construction. Mr. Butler holds a B.S. Degree in Finance from Virginia Tech (1984) and recently graduated from the prestigious Turner Construction Management School (May 2012) and has worked for or been associated with such respected companies such as Turner Construction, Cain Contracting, Lewis Contracting, Kayden Premier Enterprises, REMAX, Associates Financial, Prudential, Allstate, Beltway Title, Long & Foster, Keller Williams, Butler Classic Homes and Washington Homes to namea few. Mr. Butler has developed numerous rehab and new construction projects throughout Maryland and Pennsylvania.
