Gabriel Weinberg – CEO and Founder at DuckDuckGo and Author of Traction: A Startup Guide to Getting Customers
Gabriel Weinberg is the CEO and Founder of DuckDuckGo, a community-driven search engine that prides itself on not tracking users and providing privacy, all while stripping away the clutter that often involves search engine platforms. He is also an active blogger about everything in the start-up, investment, and marketing worlds. His new book, “Traction,” lists the 20 plus ways to gain market traction and then shows how to execute each of the paths. We love this book and recommend it very highly! Chris Smith – Founder of kCross Brand Alignment Consultancy
Chris Smith is a 5th generation native of Arizona. His family has farmed, ranched and rodeoed there since 1877. The kCross brand has been in his family since the 1950′s when his great grandfather registered the cattle brand with the state of Arizona. Having been around cowboys and their stories for most of his life, Chris is a storyteller at heart. Chris has created a proprietary methodology called ‘The Campfire Effect.’ The Campfire Effect is a framework that teaches organizations and entrepreneurs how to do 3 things: 1. Get clear on what you brand stands for and how to tell your story in a powerful way. 2. Create powerful influence by connecting what you do to who you are. 3. Create brand loyalty with your clients and employees. He also loves his time as a board member for the non-profit AZ Common Ground.
