Pratik Chougule just left his position as the Executive Editor of The American Conservative. Prior to that, he was the managing editor at The National Interest and he served as the Policy Coordinator on the 2016 presidential campaign of former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee. Pratik has contributed to the Trilateral Commission, International Center on Nonviolent Conflict, and Baron Public Affairs. He has assisted senior officials with their memoirs, most recently former U.S. ambassador to Afghanistan, Iraq, and the United Nations Zalmay Khalilzad. From 2008-2009, he was a Bush appointee at the State Department in the Office of the Under Secretary for Arms Control and International Security.
