Dr. Michael Useem is a Professor of Management and the Director of the Center for Leadership and Change Management at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. His university teaching includes MBA and executive-MBA courses on management and leadership, and he offers programs on leadership and governance for managers in the United States, Asia, Europe, and Latin America. He works on leadership development with many companies and organizations in the private, public and non-profit sectors. He is the author of The Leader’s Checklist; The Leadership Moment; Executive Defense, Investor Capitalism, Leading Up, and The Go Point. He is also co-author and co-editor of Learning from Catastrophes; co-author of The India Way and Leadership Dispatches; and co-author of the forthcoming Catastrophic Risk: How Corporate America Copes with Disruption (Oxford University Press). He is also co-anchor for a weekly program “Leadership in Action” on SiriusXM Radio Channel 111, Business Radio Powered by Wharton.
Peter Vekselman – Real Estate Investing and Real Estate Investing Coach
Peter Vekselman built and sold a franchise system and then built a mobile home distributorship which became the largest used distributorship in Georgia. Now, he is owner/operator of a construction company and has completed over 3000 renovations and new homes. He is also a private money lender and Angel Investor, having raised over 10 million to lend out to Real Estate Investors for short term bridge loans. After building one of the largest and most successful Real Estate Investing companies in the southeastern United States, Peter realized that he was pioneering an entirely new and successful business model: providing clients with one source for all their needs. It became clear to him that teaching others how to succeed in the rough and tumble world of Real Estate Investing was his future. He developed a unique curriculum for Real Estate Investing that takes the needs of students into consideration. Instead of a 3-day interaction with students barely scratching the surface, he developed a 1-year Immersion into Real Estate Investing Curriculum.
