His clients include startups, small to medium size family and nonfamily-owned businesses, and nonprofit organizations. Mr. Talavera’s framework includes performing financial assessments, accounting reviews and controls, process optimization, strategic planning, goal setting, budget, and planning, and business cases when initiating a project or new venture. He provides loan consulting for clients seeking support navigating the lending process for capital expansion, working capital, or restructuring debt. Mr. Talavera is a frequent speaker at El Paso’s Small Business Development Center on Small Business Loans. He serves as Chairman of the Board of the El Paso Boys and Girls Foundation, and in other capacities at other non-profit organizations. He is an avid fitness enthusiast and founder of the El Paso Marathon Foundation, an organization that has had an economic impact of approximately $900,000 for the city of El Paso and has awarded over $200,000 to local charities. Mr. Talavera has a Master of Business Administration in Management from the University of Texas at El Paso.
