Gail Doby – Founder of Gail Doby Coaching & Consulting

I tell my clients somewhere between 3 to 12% of revenue
should be spent on marketing. The smaller your company,
the bigger the percent.

Gail Doby is co-founder of Gail Doby Coaching & Consulting, a firm that has helped designers, architects, and other creatives increase their profitability by up to as much as 4,000+ percent. As the firm’s Chief Vision Officer, she is obsessed with sharing innovative ways to overcome the business roadblocks, challenges, and detours creative entrepreneurs face when trying to do it on their own. No matter which hat she is wearing, her goal is simple—to empower design-industry clients to differentiate themselves, drive measurable results, achieve business projections, and create personal satisfaction through game-changing strategies and business practices. Gail loves travel, writing, mentoring, joint ventures, hot air ballooning, Lake Tahoe, her friends of more decades than she cares to admit, her slinky feline Carmella and her supportive and ever-so-patient husband, Harry.

Stephen Kurczy – Author of The Quiet Zone

Greenbank, WV is naturally quiet, but also quiet by law,
making it unique in the US and in the World.

Stephen Kurczy have been a journalist for more than 15 years. From the muddy jungles of Cambodia to the dense rain forests of Brazil,He reported stories from around the world for The Christian Science Monitor, The Economist, The New York Times, and elsewhere. Stephen took a break from deadlines in 2016-2017 to participate in the Knight-Bagehot Fellowship at Columbia University, where he earned my M.S. from the Graduate School of Journalism. Through the program, Stephen began working on a story about a mysterious area of Appalachia where cell service and WiFi are restricted by state and federal laws. This developed into a book called The Quiet Zone, published by HaperCollins imprint Dey Street Books in August 2021.
