Martino Cartier – Founder of Martino Cartier Salon and Friends Are By Your Side

The business is the drive. Never saying no. Accepting the fact that
you’re not going to work 9 to 5 Monday through Friday,
that you’re
going to work 24/7, 365, and how badly you want
it.

Martino Cartier is a celebrity stylist, and founder of the award winning Martino Cartier Salon, a hair salon with over fifty employees. The Martino Cartier Salon has been featured on Bravo TV, Modern Salon Magazine, Salon Today, Seventeen, The Golden Globes 2010, and more. Martino was the International Artistic Director for Keratin Complex for six years, and the Global Artistic Director for Hotheads for two years. He is committed to making the world more beautiful one head at a time, a task he aids by ensuring no client leaves his salon without knowing how to recreate their look at home. He also created Wigs and Wishes, a charity operating through salons to give wigs to women and last wishes to critically ill children. After watching a close friend fight cancer, Martino decided to help her and other women suffering from hair loss reclaim their confidence and their looks by gifting wigs to then; the burst of energy and happiness people feel when they look good undoubtedly helps women who are suffering. But Martino also thought of the children when he created Wigs and Wishes, and part of the charity’s mission is setting aside funds to fulfill the last wishes of kids fighting cancer.
