“The audio file was removed when we switched hosts. Sorry. The cost was prohibitive. If you need the file, contact us and we will send it.”
Tristan Kromer leads a life akin to that of an entrepreneurial Forrest Gump! If you don’t believe us, just check our his life story (truncated of course) here. Unfortunately, we’ve only got 22 minutes with him! Tristan is heavily involved with wordpress plugin development and has created three of his own. The coolest of them all is TweetHerder which allows bloggers to make excerpts of their blog tweet-able by readers with a single click. If any of you have a blog and heavy twitter following, you would definitely benefit from this plugin. In addition to plugins, Tristan is the foreman for Lean Startup Circle, a group dedicated for producing content to help grow lean startup leaders. As the “man in the field”, Tristan is in charge of moderating discussion groups, website construction and maintenance, and blogging. He’s an interesting guy which will undoubtedly make for an interesting interview. Some more great Tristan content….
Brittany Walters-Bearden – CEO of At Large PR
Brittany Walters-Bearden is CEO of At Large PR, a firm dedicated to helping startups manage their image as they go through the typical growing pains that startups face. She has worked with numerous PR firms in varying capacities, learning every corner of the industry along the way. Her firm works an ad-hoc basis, providing her clients with superior value, but allowing them to tailor the PR process to suit their budget and needs. With this model, At Large PR is a great choice for a PR consulting company for start-ups, or anyone who wants work done their way, not the agency’s way. We are excited to welcome her today to give you a few freebies regarding you PR needs.
Mike Blake is a host at a very cool content platform based right here in Atlanta. The Startup Lounge has great live events and also is a content platform that seeks to educate both startups and investors regarding the investment process. They do this because they see ignorance as a main contributor towards the not-so-startup-friendly environment that has stifled the growth of Atlanta’s emerging tech market for years. Though we might not be there yet, rest assured Atlanta is on way to becoming a technological force to be reckoned with. Today, Mike walks us through the problems that hurt Atlanta’s growth as a tech hub in the early going and the key players that are that are seeking to turn things around! It’s going to be a great interview, so be sure to tune in!
