“The audio file was removed when we switched hosts. Sorry. The cost was prohibitive. If you need the file, contact us and we will send it.”
Kamran Elahian started his career at Hewlett-Packard, and even though he was taking classes at Stanford University in circuit design, Hewlett-Packard told him that he was a lousy engineer. Unfazed, he created a process to automate chip design software which led to his first company CAE Systems, eventually sold for $75 million. After that, Kamran proceeded to start a series of companies that IPOed in the hundreds of millions and eventually were worth billions. He has also been a movie producer, pursuing his dedication to world peace, and his philanthropic efforts have been noted worldwide. He won the very prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award and today runs a venture firm. We are incredibly honored to have him as our guest.
Peter Einstein is best known as one of the most creative advertising and branding experts in America. His Arm & Hammer ad was called the best commercial of all time and the ad that he did for Gillette, called Toes, was cited as the funniest thing on TV by a Newsday media critic. Peter unbelievably came up with the name Jell-O Pudding Pops and was in charge of the DeLorean car campaign in the 1980s. He won the Thomas J Lipton President’s Award for advertising excellence an unprecedented two years in a row. But today, Peter is with us to talk about his new crowd funding search engine called CF4ALL. Peter shares with us how the idea came about and what his goals are for his piece of the crowd funding infrastructure.
