Bob Burg – Keynote Speaker, Co-Founder and Coauthor of The Go-Giver, Expanded Edition: A Little Story About a Powerful Business Idea
Bob Burg has honored us before on the show and his book “The Go-Giver” is one of the best selling business books of all time. He is one of the very top writers, speakers, and thought leaders. Bob speaks for corporations and associations internationally, including many of the Fortune 500 companies. He is best known for his book Endless Referrals and Adversaries into Allies: Win People Over Without Manipulation or Coercion. But his business parable, The Go-Giver (coauthored with John David Mann) has had the greatest impact. It has been translated into 21 languages and was Bob’s fourth book to sell over 250,000 copies. Today, he is with us to talk about the new edition to the “The Go-Giver.”
Davin McCoy is a singer-songwriter. We discuss the similarities between the recording industry and entrepreneurship. Davin has the same problems entrepreneures do, like building platform, getting customers to buy, etc. His new album, Whiskey Sexy, is produced by Don McCollister, the guy behind Shawn Mullins, Third Day and Sister Hazel. “Davin’s voice is so compelling,” McCollister says. “As soon as he opens his mouth in front of a microphone, everybody stops to listen. Working on this record with him really rekindled my fire.” Together, they recorded Whiskey Sexy in just two weeks, and today Davin shares great insights into the business side of making great music.
