Drew Angell is a digital pioneer who loves rolling his sleeves up and identifying software & programming solutions. As the owner and lead developer within AngellEYE & GitCommits, Drew’s responsibilities include everything from day-to-day business management to the development of web and mobile applications. Being heavily involved with PayPal, Drew is a certified PayPal developer; one of only 13 in the world that reached the ACE Developer status, an official PayPal Partner, and a PayPal Ambassador. He was also given the PayPal Star Developer Award at the developer conferences in 2008, 2009, and 2011. As a developer maintaining his own plugins and working on custom client projects, Drew realized there was a golden opportunity to turn GitHub into a natural marketplace for Contributors to get paid when pull requests are accepted and merged, leading to the recent launch of GitCommits. Apart from software development, Drew is a board member for the Campaign for Aging Research, the Kansas City Table Tennis Club, and volunteers with a local non-profit, The HALO Foundation.
