Gerald Weaver has done just about everything there is to do on Capitol Hill and in Washington. He was a lawyer at a Washington law firm, a Chief of Staff in the U.S. House of Representatives, a lobbyist who owned his own firm, a political analyst at a major trade association, and a legislative assistant who began his career as an intern. He has managed Congressional campaigns, testified before the U.S. Senate, served on the steering committees of Presidential campaigns, affected federal legislation, managed a large state for a Presidential campaign and personally known countless of Washington’s politicians, journalists and other figures. Gerald has been quoted on numerous occasions in the London Sunday Times, New York Times, The New Statesman, the Washington Post, The Times of London, Daily Variety, ABC World News Tonight, has been interviewed on the BBC, Talk Radio Europe, Monocle 24, and has appeared in many other publications and media outlets. After having written countless speeches, press releases, Congressional testimonies, political advertisements, legal briefs and lobbying reports, he is beginning his career in a different kind of writing.

Jim Caldon was a Navy Seabee who served in Vietnam in the late 60’s. When his children were 2, 4, and 6 years of age, it was determined that he suffered from non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma – Stage IV. The prognosis was “two years.” My husband lived for nine. After many years of medical testing, the VA classified his death as “service-related due to his exposure to Agent Orange.” But Denise has never received a penny in benefits. This is her story.
