His next venture was a cleaning company that serviced doctor’s offices. He then started a startup magnet company providing small businesses an opportunity to advertise. Following that, David pursued his passion for food preparation and design by attending culinary school. Subsequently, he held positions as assistant and Head chef where he was exposed to the demands of creating a systematized and organized team. These exact skills were further tested when David joined the army. David earned placement in the elite paratroopers unit. He has applied many lessons learned in the army to his life in business. These include esprit De corps, his refined leadership skills and clear communication which enhances his team’s production. He embraces unforeseen challenges with logic and drive. Upon finishing his service in the army, David moved to Los Angeles to manage the operations of Sentry Financial Services, a successful and well-established wealth preservation and strategy firm. Through his management, sales tripled. Now, David is pursuing his dream of making something for the greater good of everyone around him. Born & raised to naturopathic & chiropractic physicians, he has been involved in natural healthcare his entire life, he was an early investor in the successful supplement brand Xymogen. His passion for natural and effective organic medicine led to his desire to lead Genexa, while his culinary skills have helped shape the taste and texture of Genexa medicines. Kevin Monaghan – Founder and Director of Intuitive Compensation Group.
Kevin Monaghan is the Founder and Director of Intuitive Compensation Group. Educated at Siena College in Albany, and Bond Uni in Australia, Kevin began his career in Rochester, N.Y. for a highly successful financial planning practice where he worked alongside his father in deferred compensation. Kevin then moved to Baltimore, where he traded stocks, bonds, options, and commodities at T.Rowe Price. He returned to Financial Planning when he moved to China and spent 7 years building one of the largest Financial Expat Consulting firms that were purchased by the deVere Group. Currently based in Charlotte, N.C., Kevin founded Intuitive Compensation Group where he uses his skills of working with American business owners and Chinese partners to inform owners and partners in the US of strategies to help protect, incentivize, and compensate other owners and/or key employees. Today, Kevin makes live appearances all over the country and helps business owners, partnerships, business brokers (buyers & sellers), and key employees align their goals with workable compensation models that incentivize over time without running into some of the roadblocks of giving away equity, or being stuck with a minority stake in a company where you can’t control dividend distribution.
Anne Sugar – Executive coach, and Speaker
Anne Sugar is an Executive coach, and Speaker who has advised top leaders advised top leaders at companies including TripAdvisor and Havas. She is an executive coach for Harvard Business School Executive Education and has guest lectured at MIT. Prior to becoming an executive coach more than a decade ago, Anne served as a senior leader in the advertising industry, where she oversaw a team of 75 employees as SVP of Media at Digitas. She managed media planning for Fortune 500 clients including General Motors, Federal Express, and Delta. She draws on her extensive management experience, as well as her in-depth training in coaching methodology, to advise senior executives and high performers transitioning into leadership roles. Anne is also a contributor to Harvard Business Review.
