Vincent Russo is a lawyer in Atlanta, Georgia, where his practice focuses on business and government law, including securities and business litigation, contract disputes, business torts, government investigations and public policy. More importantly, Vincent led the development of Georgia’s crowdfunding regulations and wrote Georgia’s intrastate crowdfunding exemption. Georgia is one of the first states to implement an intrastate offering exemption in the crowdfunding context and allow non-accredited investors to invest in Georgia businesses. We talk about how this will affect businesses in Georgia and be a great benefit to the state. Vincent received the James C. Pratt Memorial Award at Emory University School of Law and also was the recipient of the 2003 Chancellor’s Medal of Distinguished Service at Louisiana State University.
