Rodney Bullard is a veteran, a past Congressional Legislative Liaison at the Pentagon, a former assistant U.S. attorney and a former White House Fellow who reported directly to the NASA Administrator. Rodney is currently Vice President of Community Affairs at Chick-fil-A, Inc. and Executive Director of the Chick-fil-A Foundation where he leads the company’s corporate community and philanthropic strategy, which is focused on fostering youth and furthering education. Rodney shares his struggles and heroes he’s met along the way, from learning how to read and the determined teacher who found a way to help him, a dismissive reply he received when he asked about applying to be a White House Fellow and more, all with the hope that revealing his challenges will spark courage in others. A decorated veteran, Rodney also served in the United States Air Force Judge Advocate General Corps eventually working at the Pentagon as a Congressional Legislative Liaison in the Office of the Secretary of the Air Force.
Stephen Perun – Offering Management Lead at IBM, Automotive and Connected Vehicles, Watson IoT and Author of My Cognitive auto MOBILE Life: Digital Divorce from a Cognitive Personal Assistant
Stephen Perun is the Offering Management Lead for Automotive and Connected Vehicles for Watson IoT. Stephen provides business consulting and technical expertise in the areas of Connected Vehicle and Enterprise Mobility to launch new solutions for IBM. He coordinates strategy, business development, marketing, sales and development in support of these solutions. Stephen has 26 years experience in software solutions, 17 in wireless and emerging technologies, and 9 in manufacturing. As technology has improved most of the foundation of his projects has been the opportunities for OEMs to transform and connect with their customers in new ways. Now more than ever as the Automotive industry undergoes a new mobility transformation, the strategies are driven by customer experience over technology. He is currently on an International Assignment in Japan with a focus on global partnerships and bringing IBM’s new Cognitive technologies to clients.
