BioBots is a Philadelphia-based startup that is revolutionizing how biology research is conducted by enabling 3D tissue research. In addition to being featured on CNN and Fortune, BioBots was recently a TechCrunch Disrupt 2015 Finalist and named The Company of the Year by the Philadelphia Business Journal. BioBots was also the grand prize Pennvention 2015 Winner. Danny has won the Neuroscience Poster Presentation Award, was the SXSW 2015 Most Innovative award winner, and he is an Inc. and Forbes 30 under 30.
John Saddington – Entrepreneur in Residence at UP2398
John Saddington is an entrepreneur and startup founder. He has both bootstrapped and raised venture capital for a handful of technology ventures, building highly-functional collaborative teams with limited resources. As an enterprise executive (Fox, NewsCorp) John lead M&A, strategic growth, and technology teams overseeing millions in budget. After 17-years of software development experience, he has built and deployed enterprise-grade global applications for Fortune 50s (Dell, Johnson and Johnson) as well as had success as an indie software developer. John has been blogging publicly for 15 years and writing for much longer than that. Previously, he used Kickstarter to raise $300k+ for an iOS app.
