Rod is an accomplished entrepreneur and business leader with over 20 years of experience at the intersection of economics, finance and technology. His extensive experience in the technology industry includes co-founding npm, Inc, where he served as COO. npm was acquired by Microsoft. Under leadership of Rod and his co-founders, npm became the world’s largest registry of open-source JavaScript packages, serving as a critical resource for developers around the world. Today, npm packages support nearly every major website, improving the lives of 5 billion people on a daily basis. In addition to his entrepreneurial endeavors, Rod held a range of quantitative, technical, and leadership roles at leading financial institutions such as Wells Fargo Bank, AIG, Ernst & Young, and most recently, Global Head of Identity at Santander.
