Joshua Ford

Joshua Ford is the CEO and Co-Founder of HipTrain. As the son of two teachers, he is passionate about creating more affordable and accessible wellness services for people of all income levels. Prior to starting HipTrain, he was an early employee and served for three years as Head of Global Business Development at Candid, a venture-backed company focused on making oral healthcare more accessible and affordable. He previously led strategic partnerships in Latin America for Uber. He also worked for the White House, FIFA (in both South Africa and Brazil), IBM, Endeavor and The Gap Partnership. He has served on the Board of Trustees for HOBY (Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership) International, EACEF (East African Childrens’ Education Fund), The Dare to Dream Travel Scholarship and the Broughton Travel Fellowship. Joshua was Fulbright Scholar in Mexico where he researched entrepreneurship in emerging markets and was a Morehead-Cain Scholar in the Honors Program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he earned his B.A. in Global Studies.

With extensive experience both in the business and political worlds, Dr. Joe Zammit-Lucia is a leadership adviser focused on business leadership in contemporary culture, and an author, public speaker and commentator in the international press on the inter-relationship between business and politics. His latest book is “The New Political Capitalism: How businesses and societies can thrive in a deeply politicized world” (Bloomsbury Business, 2022). Previous books have included “The Death of Liberal Democracy?” and “Backlash: Saving Globalization From Itself.” He is a founder of RADIX – a not-for-profit public policy think tank, and the RADIX Centre for Business, Politics & Society. His executive experience spanned R&D, marketing, global brand management, strategic planning, industry economics and public policy. He then founded, and later divested, a srategic advisory firm with offices in Cambridge (UK), New York and Tokyo. He also acted as a Special Advisor to the Director General at the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and was a member of the Dean’s Advisory Board at the College of Arts, Sciences and Education, Florida International University. He is currently on the Advisory Board of the Singapore Forum for long-term investors and business leaders and an External Advisory Board Member at CEO World.
