Annie Eaton – CEO at Futurus, LLC
Annie Eaton is the CEO of Atlanta-based future technologies company Futurus, where she creates immersive, engaging and interactive experiences in virtual reality, augmented reality and 360 capture. Before she founded Futurus in 2014, Annie worked in the power and financial technology fields where she developed marketing and communications strategy. Annie earned her degree from The Georgia Institute of Technology in 2010. She is an involved with GeorgiaVR and previously served on the board of the Technology Association of Georgia’s Digital Media and Entertainment society. In 2014, she created XR Atlanta, which now boasts over 1,100 active members. Annie is involved with GeorgiaVR, Women in XR Atlanta, and is a re imagine/ATL Alliance member. She currently serves as an advisor to the TAG Digital Media and Entertainment society and is a member of the Young Entrepreneurs Council and the Oxford Center for Entrepreneurs. Earlier this year, Annie received the Women in IT Rising Star award and was named the Technology Association of Georgia Young Professionals’ 2017 Technologist of the Year. Annie has vast public speaking experience, having been invited as a speaker to engagements including General Assembly, Georgia State University, Hospitality Executive Exchange, Talk NYC, Federal Reserve, OrlandoiX, FutureX Live and Atlanta Tech Edge.
Malory Atkinson, CPSM, LEED GA – Managing Partner at Shear Structural
Malory Atkinson is the Managing Partner at Shear Structural. She is making huge inroads into a very male dominated industry. Malory has a unique background in both construction and engineering operations. She holds a BS degree in Building Construction from Georgia Tech and an MBA in Marketing from Georgia State University. Her technical, marketing, business development, and tech startup experience provide a specialized expertise in managing the firm’s business operations. A rare Atlanta native, Malory currently serves on the Sustainability Task Force for Camp Twin Lakes, the Board of Advisors for Golf For The Kids, a UrbanPlan Facilitator for Urban Land Institute Atlanta, and a Golden Shoe Jury Member for PEDS.
