Audrey Johns – Founder of Lose Weight By Eating and Author of Lose Weight by Eating

As the founder of Lose Weight By Eating, Audrey Johns has helped millions learn how to cook and how to lose weight.  Like many Americans, Audrey struggled with fad diets and constant weight gain. Nearing the three- hundred-pound mark, she was eating under 1,000 calories per day of frozen “diet” meals and still gaining weight. After trying every major diet out there (and some scary ones too!), Audrey was left with no lasting results and more broke than ever. That’s when she decided to go back to the basics. She taught herself how to cook and transformed her favorite foods into skinny versions. After only a year of eating her new skinny recipes, she went from a size 24 to a size 4, losing over 150 pounds in 11 months.

Arjun Rastogi – Winner of the It’s Up to Us Debt Awareness Competition

The debate over how to handle the national debt has come back into the spotlight. Students are at the forefront with solutions, thanks to the Up to Us national campus competition. The non-partisan Up to Us program empowers students to raise awareness about America’s long-term fiscal and economic health in a competitive and educational campaign. The competition debuted in 2012 with just 10 schools, and it has grown to include more than 230 students on more than 50 teams in nearly 30 states during the 2016 campaign. Arjun Rastogi is a member of the winning team from College of William & Mary.
