Bill Schneider – Former Chief Political Correspondent for CNN and Professor at Schar School of Policy at George Mason University

Bill Schneider is Professor of Public Policy and Public and International Affairs at the Schar School of Policy and Government at George Mason University. Kanter Award for Excellence in Television, a special award for his extensive coverage and keen insight of the 2008 United States presidential elections from the International Foundation for Electoral Systems, and the Centennial Medal for contributions to society from the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences at Harvard University. Professor Schneider has also written extensively on politics and public opinion. He is the author of Standoff: How America Became Ungovernable, where he takes his readers inside the voting booth to show how Americans vote and why their votes sometimes seem to make no practical sense.
