Mark Oman – Founder and CEO of Xtra-PC

Mark Oman is a veteran of IT going back 45 years. He started at Hewlett Packard where he was a General Manager and then worked at Agilent Technologies where he was Vice President of Manufacturing, Quality and IT Sourcing. Mark retired from Silicon Valley and moved to Prairie, Colorado to work with his son. They founded Prairie IT to help small business and nonprofits reduce costs and maximize the use of their existing IT equipment. Father and son then founded Xtra-PC which was based on the idea to turn old, outdated computers into useful like-new ones. Mark’s vision is to keep millions of old PCs out of the landfill and get them to the millions of people that need a computer at an affordable price. Xtra-PC is a flash drive USB that speeds up old and outdated computers and extends their life by five years on average.
