Andrea Simon – Corporate Anthropologist and Author of On the Brink: A Fresh Lens to Take Your Business to New Heights

Andrea Simon is a Corporate Anthropologist and runs Simon Associates Management Consultants. She is a trained practitioner in Blue Ocean Strategy, a trained facilitator and a trainer in Innovation Games. She specializes in anthropology in changing organizations. Her work is summarized in her new book, On the Brink. She spent a decade in academia at Ramapo College in New Jersey and as a Visiting Professor at Washington University in St. Louis teaching Entrepreneurship to Arts and Science students; 15 years of senior executive positions in financial services organizations; and 7 years in healthcare branding and marketing. She has appeared on Good Morning America and has been interviewed for The Washington Post, Business Week, and Forbes, and has written for FierceHealthcare, Executive Street blog, and American Banker. A widely engaged speaker, she has conducted workshops and speeches for Vistage International, TEC, and The Executive Council and has presented keynote speeches and workshops at the National Association of Electrical Distributors, Family Firm Institute, IACC, ABIT, Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development, and the Forum for Healthcare Marketing, among others.
