Airbyte takes data spread across multiple services and centralizes
it in a single data warehouse.
Michel is the CEO and Co-Founder of Airbyte, the new open-source standard for data integration – used to build data pipelines, using both provided and custom connectors, that replicate data between databases, data warehouses and data lakes. Launched last year, Airbyte in May closed a $26 million Series A funding round led by Benchmark. That came on the heels of a $5.2 million seed round of funding in March — from Accel, YCombinator, 8VC, and some high-profile business angels, including the co-founder of Segment, the former GM Cloudera, and the co-founder of Liveramp and Safegraph. Airbyte has now raised a total of $31MM and has been used by over 4K companies. Previously as head of integrations and engineering director at Liveramp (NYSE: RAMP), he grew the team responsible for building and scaling the data ingestion and data distribution connectors, syncing 100s TB every day.
