Scott Oakley – Founder, CEO, Head Guru – MooveGuru, Inc.

We have over 300,000 real estate agents and loans officers that
use YourHomeHub. They have been recommending contractors
and service providers. We have over 500,000 contractors recommend
by people that we trust.

Scott Oakley is the CEO of MooveGuru and is excited to discuss their concept YourHomeHub, an “everything home” property tech platform and franchise launching this fall. Although Scott Oakley prefers the title of Head Guru, he’s also the Founder and CEO of MooveGuru, an innovative company that connects consumers with select marketers when they have the greatest need – moving into a new home. But he’s known and respected by those who know him best as the “start-up guru,” with five start-up companies under his belt. His goal everyday is to match the services of great companies with the needs of consumers, and to save them money during the most stressful time of their lives. Sounds like a winning combination, but it didn’t come together overnight. MooveGuru was just an idea first envisioned by Scott in 2009. He kept the dream alive by working nights and weekends refining the business model, designing a marketing strategy and planning an organizational structure. Then in 2016, while working as executive vice president at Lone Wolf, the company was sold. Scott heard opportunity knocking and knew the time was right to launch this innovative new company. He joined forces with Brian Friemel to finally make his dream come true. MooveGuru became a reality and the market responded positively. In just a few short years, MooveGuru attracted an impressive collective of who’s who in the American corporate world. Companies that now offer discounted consumer services through MooveGuru include: Home Depot, ADT, Pods, ATT, DirectTV, Allstate and Verizon, among others. Scott Oakley played a role in the development of the first virtual tour company, Bamboo.com. He introduced this revolutionary technology to the real estate industry, merged it with iPix and transitioned it into the Realtor.com imaging division. But it was working in the public utility sector where Scott noticed that consumers making a move could use some special assistance. So he devised a strategy to ease the pain of moving by providing those services most helpful to movers, while reducing their overall expenses. The MooveGuru concept was born. It’s an understatement to say that Scott is an “idea person,” but he’s also a practical business person with many serious accomplishments. He has extensive tactical marketing/sales and business development experience, and is passionate about consistently exceeding all objectives. As the owner and executive vice president of sales and business development at Connecting Neighbors, Scott increased revenue from $160,000 to $4.7 million in less than four years and was recognized as an Inman Innovator in 2005. While executive vice president at Pride of Ownership, he established relationships with over 4,000 Georgia Realtors®. Scott began his career at RE/MAX in franchise sales. He became their #1 salesperson in North America and that marked the beginning of a 21-year career. With the knowledge he’s gained and the many people he’s worked with, he knows his way around the very diverse real estate business world.
