Courtney Reum, along with his brother Carter, is the co-founder of M13, a disruptive venture capital firm that has invested in over 100 startups, companies such as Lyft, Snap, Warby Parker, ClassPass, and Slack. He’s been recognized as Goldman Sachs’ 100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs 4 years in a row and his entrepreneurial venture VEEV earned him a place on Inc’s 250 fastest growing companies. Additionally, Courtney is a host on the TV show, Hatched and has been featured in Richard Branson’s book, “Screw Business as Usual.” He is a firm believer in the sharing economy and have enjoyed putting together all of his learning into a book “Shortcut Your Startup.”
Paul Geiger – Speech Coach at New York Speech Coaching and Better Business Speech: Techniques and Shortcuts for Public Speaking at Work
Paul Geiger specializes in coaching the dynamics of public speaking, accent reduction and the subtleties of business communications. He has worked with individuals and groups from a wide range of national and international companies such as Banco do Brasil, Morgan Stanley, UNICEF, and Deutsche Bank, to name a few. Paul is also an accomplished actor, voice-over artist, and on camera host, having done work for Days Of Our Lives, All My Children, Mercedes Benz, Platinum Technologies and Coldwell Banker. The physical and psychological aspects of speech are addressed in Paul’s singular teaching concept of owning your breath and clear articulation of perspective. In his years at New York Speech Coaching, he has developed a customizable program of action steps that get results. Gina Nucci – Director of Corporate Marketing for Mann Fresh Veggies
Gina Nucci was named one of Produce Business magazines 40 under Forty. Eat Your Vegetables is something you have probably heard more than once but it has become Gina’s fightsong. Mann Fresh Veggies was founded in 1939, Mann Packing is an industry leading, third generation supplier of premium fresh vegetables. Gina started her career with Mann Packing Company as New Product Development Manager and was later promoted to Director of Healthy Culinary Innovation. She helped launch Manns Arcadian Harvest® and Manns Better Burger Leaf® lettuces. In 2016, she was promoted as the Director of Corporate Marketing. She manages trade and consumer marketing for Mann Packing Company, planning and implementing marketing and product development programs, both short and long range, targeted toward existing and new markets in the U.S. and Canada. She is also active in industry and local organizations, serving on the food service division board of PMA for three years and volunteering for PMA Foundation for Industry Talent. She also sat on the United Fresh Fresh-Cut board of directors. She also sits on the advisory board for Think Beyond Plastic™ an influential global leader in advancing solutions to plastic pollution. Part of her local volunteer outreach includes a board of directors position for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County, and volunteering for the American Heart Associations Go Red for Women Campaign in Monterey County.
