Nick Jans – Author
Nick Jans spent the early years of his life travelling the globe before settling in the US to attend school and eventually graduate with a degree in English Literature. In 1979 he set out for adventure in Alaska where he them worked for a hunting guide and even became a schoolteacher to Inupiat Eskimo children. He continued to explore the region, and after more studies, began his career as a professional nature photographer and author. He has written 11 books, hundreds of magazine articles, and numerous contributions to anthologies. As an editor for Alaska Magazine, he still found time to release his latest book, A Wolf Called Romeo.
