Alex Varricchio, together with his friend and business partner, Kiirsten May, co-founded UpHouse in 2017. UpHouse is an award-winning branding and marketing firm that works collaboratively with clients across the globe to invigorate their brand position, create achievable marketing plans and cultivate the skills of their creative people. In his past life, Alex Varricchio worked with one of the largest advertising agencies on the Canadian Prairies for 10 years, and eventually led the creative department as creative director. In addition to founding UpHouse, Alex and Kiirsten have recently launched Crainstorm, a crowdsourced brainstorming web app that allows people to gather fresh insight and ideas from marketers and other innovators, from a distance.
