Dr. Mike Haynie – Executive Director of Institute for Veterans and Military Families at Syracuse University – Highlight Here

Dr. Michael Haynie is The Barnes Professor of Entrepreneurship at Syracuse University. His research is focused on entrepreneurial thinking and has been published in the top journals. Mike served for 14 years as an officer in the U.S. Air Force and taught at the U.S. Air Force Academy. He founded the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities (EBV) program and early 800 veterans have received EBV training since 2007. The Secretary of the Army recognized it as a ‘National Best Practice.’ He has been featured on CBS’ 60 Minutes and the ABC Evening News with Diane Sawyer.

Joe Perez calls himself the “VetBizMan!” Joe served until 1998, and then rejoined his family business. He grew the company from the low six figure’s to a multi-million dollar company and was recognized nationally by Hispanic Business Magazine as one of the 100 Fastest Growing Businesses in America in 2006. In early 2010, he started Frontline Support Solutions, to help Service Disabled Veterans. The company was designed to provide employment opportunities to veterans interested in federal contracting opportunities. Joe is very active in Hispanic and local business organizations in San Antonio.

Sue Bozgoz

Sue Bozgoz – Health and Fitness Instructor, Executive Director at I Run 4 God – Highlight Here

Sue Bozgoz’s energy is contagious and her efforts on behave of female soldiers and veterans are amazing. She was an All Army Marathoner, Lieutenant Colonel, Service Disabled Veteran, and is now president of The ir4g Global Running Association. The ir4g Running Club was formed for all veterans, service disabled veterans, runners and potential runners with a mission. Also, Sue discusses the issues facing female soldiers and veterans and her efforts to help.
