Edwin Heaven – Shark Tank Contestant and Founder of Throx
Edwin Heaven writes like Hell! He started with award-winning campaigns for the likes of J. Walter Thompson, McCann-Erickson, and Guthy-Renker, some the top advertising agencies in the world. He worked on accounts including Sprint, Chevron, Wells Fargo, Del Monte, Hewlett-Packard, Hyatt Hotels, Michelob, Chrysler, Dole, and Warner Bros. He did such a great job branding one start-up called eGroups that Yahoo purchased it for half-a-billion dollars. Edwin wrote-produced-directed “The Organist,” an official entry at 21 international film fests. He wrote the original screenplay for “Howard the Duck” and “The Contestant” and Co-authored “Beach Blanket Babylon!,” the world’s longest-running musical/comedy. He has written comedy for the likes of Jonathan Winters, Bob Newhart, Rich Little, Tim Conway, Carol Burnett, John Cleese and Bob Hope, and he just completed his newest novel “Waiting for Cinderella.” Edwin has been published by Rolling Stone, Playboy, the SF Chronicle, Fox Kids/Steven Spielberg Presents Animaniacs and Francis Coppola’s legendary City Magazine. But, we invited him on the show to talk about Throx, a product he invented, the first socks to be sold in threes. He appeared on Shark Tank to present the company that Reader’s Digest named a “Best Innovation!”

Additionally, Kraft simultaneously served as the Editorial Director of Fit Pregnancy and Natural Health magazines, redesigning both for to better appeal to the modern woman. Prior to her appointment as Shape’s Editor-in-Chief, Kraft served as the Beauty and Fashion Director of Star. She also headed up the beauty at Celebrity Living Weekly.
